Our Work for the Dole group continues on this morning at Horsham Community House. Today, our group will be looking at using another free software app as part of the Google Office suite of programs. Google Sheets is a free spreadsheet application that allows you to create beautiful looking spreadsheets for your home or business. It even includes templates – or you can make your own from scratch. Today, we will be looking at using Google Sheets to create a Reporting Book that will calculate the total hours and gross wages for working for multiple employers over a two week period. Google sheets is quick and easy to use, and although a lightweight program when it is compared to Microsoft Excel, it can do almost everything that Excel does, and because it’s free, it’s great for those on a low budget.
